The Sant'Anna School shares the grief of the family for the sudden death, at age 57, of Marco di Natale, Full Professor of Information Processing Systems at the TeCIP (Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, and Photonics Institute) Institute, who died of an illness that struck him in his sleep while he was in Montreal, Canada, to attend a scientific conference. Marco di Natale, a native of Chieti, had graduated in 1991 with a Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa and received a PhD in 1995 in Computer Engineering from the Sant'Anna School, where he had been a Full Professor since 2014.

"The passing of Marco di Natale - commented Rector Sabina Nuti - has left our community in disbelief, where he was known and appreciated not only for the relevance of his research activities, but also for the many relationships he had with the different components of the Sant'Anna School: colleagues for scientific activities; students for lectures and tutoring; and staff for technical and administrative reasons. In this time of grief I renew my condolences to the family and, on behalf of the Sant'Anna School, I join them in their grief”.
